Shipman boat owners and guests from all over the world together with top professional sailors and boat constructors met at the second Shipman Cup in Portorož, Slovenia this April. Nine carbon yachts measuring 50 to 72 feet took part in three races over 2 days in the North Adriatic. The event was hosted in style culminating in the prize giving at Marina Portoroz where Vladimir Prosikhin and his team celebrated the victory of his 72 feet Shipman, ‘Nadejda’. After taking second place at last year’s Rolex Middle Sea Race, Vladimir Prosikhin and his team hope for more international success in other high profile regattas this year.

Story

NADEJDA is a Shipman 72 launched in April 2009. This single-handed pilothouse high-performance carbon yacht’s name means ‘hope’ in Russian, and Nadejda spreads this special energy to all, who come on board whether it be for relaxing cruising or off-shore racing.
